Last Will and Testament of a Sick Jew from Jerusalem – Bequeathing His Fortune to the 'Sha'arei Zion' Synagogue – Signed by Two Witnesses – 1879
The handwritten document specifies the sums that the sick Jew (R. Eliezer of Poswol – died in 1888) bequeaths to the Sha'arei Zion synagogue, to a charity organization and to his wife, Mrs. Chaya Sarah [died in 1898] and other relatives.
The document is signed by two witnesses: Rabbi Aharon ben Rabbi Meir Shmuel Segal Horowitz and Rabbi Yehuda Leib ben Rabbi Moshe of Ponovezh [?].
Good condition. Minor blemishes.
