The writing of Chaim Nachman Bialik and a selection of his translations. Published by Chovevei Ha'Shira Ha'Ivrit, Berlin, [1923]. Fourth volume: "Wilhelm Tell, by Friedrich Schiller". Translated by Bialik. The decorations on the title pages and binding were done by Yosef Budko.
An impressive edition, with a parchment binding with golden decoration and golden upper edges. Each one of the volumes of this edition is signed at its end by Chaim Nachman Bialik and by the artist Yosef Budko. "three thousand and two hundred copies of the book were printed .. the first two hundred copies were printed on most heavy paper and its wood engravings came from the original of the artist, all marked by letter from Aleph to Reish, signed by the author and the artists, bound with parchment and are not for sale in the market…"
