Rare Letter of Approbation Handwritten and Signed by Head of Yeshiva Rabbi Avraham Yaffen
A letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yaffen, an approbation for an important book authored by a contemporary rabbi. 1969.
Rareness: Rabbi Yaffen notes in the letter before us: "It is not customary for me to be among the approbators, yet due to my friendship … I willingly give my approbation".
Rabbi Avraham Yaffen (1886-1970) was the head of the Novardok Yeshiva for about fifty years, replacing his father-in-law Rabbi Yozel Horowitz the 'Alter of Novardok'.
Condition: Good. Folding marks. A few stains.
