CLASSICS. AVNEI MILUIM. BOTH PARTS. FIRST EDITIONS. LEMBERG- ZOLKIEW 1816-1826. RABBINICAL INSCRIPTIONS.
Classic commentary to the Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer by R. Aryeh Leib Ha’Cohen, author of the Ketzos HaChoshen. Includes the author’s responsa, as well as his rebuttals of the arguments leveled against the Ketzos HaChoshen by R. Yaakov Lorberbaum in his classic sefer Nesivos HaMishpat. This rebuttal is titled Meshovav Nesivos. Published after the author’s passing with the glosses of his son-in-law R. Shlomo Yehuda Rappaport, who prepared the Sefer for publication.
R. Aryeh Leib Ha’Cohen Heller (1745-1813), served as Rav in Rosnitov. He authored various important seforim including Shev Shma’atsa, Avnei Miluim and Ketzos HaChoshen. Frequently known as “The Ketzos”, his seforim had an immeasurable impact and are fundamentals of Talmudic discourse.
