(3) items including an archaistic carved covered hu having beast handles reticulated lid and a deep, hollow underside, brownish staining to recesses of carving; and (2) jars labeled 'Neolithic' ; all bearing labels reading 'Townsend'

Provenance: The Estate of George 'Yorgo' Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000; Townsend Collection

Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use; the hu lid having a minor chip to top edge of rim; (2) impact scars to side of taller jar; jars having surface irregularities typical of hand work
