Pennsylvania Salmon Faux Grain-Painted Chest
A Pennsylvania Salmon Faux Grain-Painted pine and tulip poplar blanket chest, circa 1850, the molded hinged lift top enclosing a fitted interior with a left covered till and single small drawer, the front faced with ebonized half spindles and roundels, raised on short turned feet.
Dimensions:height 27 3/4in; width 51 3/4in; depth 23in.
Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining its original paint decorated surface. Marks, wear, dings, dents, scuffs and surface scratches overall. There is a small loss of ebonized molding to the lower right side of the chest's front.
