Drake Blue-Billed Decoy, Rube Corlis and Others
A working Drake Blue-billed hand-painted duck hunting decoy by Rube Corlis, mid 20th century, together with three 20th century examples; a drake pintail duck decoy, an Upper Chesapeake Bay, Maryland pintail duck decoy, and a carved balsa wood hen black duck decoy, the blue-billed and one pintail decoy having an inleaded weight to the underside.
Dimensions:Height of largest 8in; width 8 1/2in; length 17 1/2in.
Condition: Each with working paint and in "gunning" condition. Typical marks, wear, and surface abrasions overall. The head of the black hen is doweled and not securely attached.
