An American folk art hand-painted carved pine Great Horned Owl decoy, probably by Herter's Sporting Goods Co., Waseca, MN, mid 20th century, solid body construction, with working glass eyes, raised on a wood stand.
Dimensions:Height of owl 19 1/2in; width 7 1/4in; depth 7 1/4in; height overall 37 1/2in.
Condition: With expected wear and losses overall. One ear with a small loss and the other replaced.
