Neoclassical Style Cameo Mounted Scent Bottle
A Continental Neoclassical style gilt metal mounted blue opaline glass scent bottle, circa 1900, the hinged stopper and sides each centered by a shell cameo of Shakespeare and Classical figures, raised on an onyx and gilt metal stand.
Dimension:Height 6 1/4in; width 4 1/4in; depth 4 1/4in.
Condition: Wear, toning and darkening to gilt metal mounts especially at high points. Minor bending throughout. There is a small chip loss to the corner of the glass scent bottle that is obscured when placed on base. Dust and dirt in crevices. There is a piece of wire decoration to the base that is loose.
