Three Antique Japanese Ceramic Sake Bottles
All gourd form, a celadon example pierced with holes for a rope, a small brown glazed example and the largest with a crystalline drip glaze. Two marked for the William Lipton collection.
Dimensions: from 2 1/2" to 5 1/2" in diameter, the tallest example is 9 1/2".
Provenance: From a Main Line, Philadelphia collection.
Condition:
The celadon example has old Kintsugi repairs, the tallest bottle has two small repairs to the top rim.
