A Pair of Imposing Japanese Gilt Bronze Vases
A pair of large circa 1900 vases, each with openwork panels decorated with dragons or Shi-Shi and bold winged dragon handles.
Dimensions: each is 16" x 13" and 21 1/4" tall.
Provenance: From a local collection.
Condition:
Surface wear as pictured, there are casting flaws that appear as cracks, the surface has been touched up, one two of the dragon handles are missing the whiskers and one handle is partly loose.
