His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

An American Tiger Maple and Woven Splint Foot Stool, 19th Century. The turned legs joined by an H-stretcher with through-tenons to either side.
Dimensions: Height 10 1/2in; width 20 1/4in; depth 8 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Retaining an old dry surface. The woven splint seat has been replaced. Typical marks, wear, scuffs, surface scratches and losses to finish.
