An American Gothic Revival Carved Walnut Secretaire A Abattant, Circa 1900. The carved castellated cornice above a blind tracery fretwork frieze, the hinged fall enclosing an interior fitted with pigeon holes, small drawers and a cupboard, above a pair of paneled cupboard doors, flanked by engaged fluted columns, raised on molded plinth base. With 'Union Made - United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America' paper label to reverse. Together with a similar carved walnut side chair, with pierced tracery splat, carved crest, stiles, seat rails and legs. (2)
