A Minton Parian Ware Bisque Porcelain Figure of 'Resignation', After William Calder Marshall (Scottish, 1813-1894), Date Code for 1863. Modeled as a Classical female figure seated on a rock. Incised 'W Calder Marshall. R.A.' to the reverse. Impressed 'MINTON' and with date code ciphers to the underside.
Dimensions: Height 13 3/4in; width 11 3/4in; depth 6in.
Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.
Condition:
General wear. Wear to foot. Small losses to flower's in figure's hand. Dust accumulation to crevices.
