Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

All early 20 mid 19th c., four watches, comprising: an example with 974 special movement in a 10k gold filled case by Star Case Co. for Hamilton, a watch with 974 special movement in a gold-filled case by Illinois, a watch with 4992b 22j movement in a base metal case by Keystone, and a watch with 992b 21j movement in a commemorative base metal case by Keystone for the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge
