Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

Three Gold Pocket Watches with Pictural Cases
Three watches, comprising: a watch by Elgin in a 14k gold case by B & Co. with hobnail edge and classical elements, a watch with by Elgin with a case with floral and landscape decoration the case with Brooklyn Eagle mark corresponding with 8k gold, and a watch by American Watch Co, in an unmarked gold case with floral and cattail decoration.
Dimensions: The total approximate gross weight of the watches is 5.40ozt diameters ranging from 39mm to 42mm

Condition:
The 14k example is in good condition with some hairline cracks to the dial, the other two have a detached element, no crystal, dents, dial chips/hairlines, and surface wear as pictured. We cannot guarantee functionality.
