Five Netsuke, Turtles
Five turtles in various materials, comprising: on that is a turtle dragon in a black material, a turtle mound in boxwood, a smaller turtle on a larger one in red and black lacquer, a fantasy piece in which a turtle steps out of his shell signed Kazuo Mizutani, and a kappa with signature.
Dimensions: ranging from the kappa at 39mm x 38mm to the turtle mound at 53mm to 42mm
Provenance: The collection of Bob Goode, Philadelphia.
Condition:
The lacquer piece has a short crack and some chips, otherwise good condition with expected wear.
