Ephemera Belonging to Civil War General George Sears Greene
Comprising: Greene’s own 1893 Gettysburg reunion planning and the dedication of New York and general Greene monuments, with additional related ephemera, and extensive Greene family genealogy. Also included is a rare CDV of Greene’s 1832 uniform taken at West Point and nine sequential photos of Greene throughout his 90s, all housed in a scrapbook containing multiple clippings about Greene’s service and life. The lot also includes General Greene's folding campaign chair.
Dimensions: the album is 13in x 11in x 3 1/2in, the chair is 19in x 24in x 30in.
Provenance: has descended in Greene's family until now.

Condition: poor condition with extensive fire damage and chipping to edges, disbound, gluing, and tears.
