Oil on canvas, dated '1766' lower left. The dog's collar is inscribed, 'Miss Ann Crewe, Kermincham'. Unsigned.
Dimensions: 24 1/2in x 29 1/2in, the frame 29 1/2in x 34 1/2in.
Provenance: From a Philadelphia Estate.
Condition:
The canvas has been relined, inspection under UV light shows scattered in-painting. The frame with minor wear, otherwise good condition.
