A Louis XV Carved Walnut Window Bench, 18th Century
Covered in a modern upholstery with brass tacks, raised on cabriole legs, joined by a shaped H -stretcher. Together with a small Louis XV style carved rectangular foot stool with needlepoint upholstery. (2)
Dimensions: Height of bench 17 1;4in; width 27in; depth 17in; Height of stool 7 1/2in; width 20 1/2in; depth 10in.
Provenance: From a Philadelphia Estate.
Condition:
In an overall restored and refinished condition. Scattered glued repairs throughout. The upholstery is in overall good condition, commensurate with age and use.
