1985, unsigned, bronze dark brown patinated, moving, minimally abstracted depiction of a man on a sow, partially tiny rubbed, h 29 cm. Artist info: German sculptor (1943 Eisenach - 2017 Starnberg), resident in Munich, freelance, worked as a wood sculptor in the Rhön, trained under Elmar Dietz then studied at the Munich Academy 1966-1973, master student under Prof. Hans Ladner, received numerous public commissions and worked in both small and monumental formats, known for his touching depictions of people and animals, from 1979 he lived on an estate on Lake Starnberg, where he promoted both art and culture, exhibited in various cities nationwide as well as in France, Italy and the island state of Taiwan.
