Pedigreed. Fine copy. Tiferet Yisrael by the Maharal - Warsaw, 1835. Stamps of the Admor from Eretz Yisrael the holy Rav Rabbi Alter of Lelov with a rare notation handwritten by him.

Many stamps (script-like and others) of Rabbi Alter ben Rabbi Elazar Menachem and Rabbi Avraham Bezalel Natan Note ben Rabbi Elazar Menachem Biderman of Jerusalem.

On the title page, a notation handwritten by him: "Had belonged to Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Meislisch (of Vitzen?) and he sold it".

The Admor Rabbi Alter Biderman (1862-1932) was born in Jerusalem to the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Elazar Mendel of Lelov. He was named Avraham Bezalel Natan Note, yet was known as Alter. In 1894, he traveled to Poland, where he stayed for four years. At the onset of World War I, he again traveled to Poland, settling in Sosnovich. He was known as the Admor from Eretz Yisrael (Der Eretz Yisroel Rebbe) and became famed as a wonder-worker. Passed away in Kislev 1932 and was succeeded in Sosnovich by his nephew (his brother's son) Rabbi Mordechai ben Rabbi Yerachmiel Yosef. 18 months after his passing, his coffin was brought to Eretz Yisroel and buried on the Mount of Olives, the members of the Chevra Kadisha stating that his body was still complete.
