Extremely rare. Handwritten signatures of the Tzaddik the Kabbalist wonder-worker Rabbi Zvi Aryeh of Mezeritch "Hamalach Halavan". 

Dvar Eliyahu by HaGra bound with Mesilat Yesharim. 


On the two title pages, his handwritten signature: "צבי ארי' בה"מ חיים שכנא זללה"ה ממעזריטש".


The first book, Dvar Eliyahu, is a rare and important book, first edition. 

Dvar Eliyahu, commentary on Sefer Iyov (Job). Studied by HaGra with his son Rabbi Avraham - Warsaw, 1854. 

The book contains also words by Rabbi Menachem Eliezer Gintshtling the author of Yair Kino.


The holy Gaon and Kabbalist Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Goldman (?-1884) the son of Rabbi Shalom Shachneh. A diligent Talmid Chacham since childhood. When he was approx. 21, he immigrated to Jerusalem and was one of the chosen few who studied at the Beit El Yeshiva of Kabbalists. Like them, he used to wear white clothes and Sabbath and was thus known by the residents of Jerusalem as Di Weisse Malach or Di Hoiche Malach (the White Angel or Tall Angel) (Midrasho shel Shem, p. 235). Was a famed wonder-worker. 

Authored three books: Cheshbon Pirteu HaMitzvot, Derech Chaim and Mezakeh Harabim. 

The Gaon Rabbi Ben Zion Shapira of Jerusalem was his disciple.
