“To save us from inciters and rebels”. Special: Marei Mekomot for a drash, handwritten by the Admor Yeshuot Moshe of Vizhnitz.
Lines written by hand on official letterhead of the Admor Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz. Contains a marei mekomot and abstract for a drash “for all anshei shlomenu”, probably to mark the “petichat zman”. Probably the author used this leaf while giving the drash.
The lines showcase his proficiency in all aspects of Torah. There are strong phrasings which are familiar to those who have read his drashot: “Obey me or leave”, “I began the process of purification in the merit of my holy fathers and with God’s help to save us from inciters and rebels; any bachur that isn’t 100% clean in his ideas will not study here—go elsewhere”, and “may we merit educating our sons in the ways of Torah and chassidus as our fathers wished.”
