Sterling Silver Presentation Monteith Bowl, John Bodman Carrington, London, England, 1895.
The bowl is made in the form of a monteith with a fluted body, shaped rim and fronted with a cartouche inscribed "2nd Brighton & Hove Stakes Won by Linden Grove".
Set on a circular fluted pedestal.
Fully hallmarked for London, England, dated 1895, maker's mark for John Bodman Carrington.
Height: 12.5cm.
Diameter: 18cm.
