Two Fragments from a Bible in Latin on Vellum - 7th century
Two (2) Script Fragments from a Biblia, in Latin on Vellum. Likely France, 7th century fragments. Written in an uncial hand in black ink. The text is Mark 6:53. Measuring approx 2" long and 4.5" long as. Great color pigments as shown. All these from one collection and most bought from Mackus Company Illuminated manuscripts and Historical documents as shown in receipts. Good condition, see photos Paid $1500 in 2006 as shown
