A 16th century Illuminated Manuscript leaf on vellum from a French Book of Hours, made in workshop of Germain Hardouyn, Paris, c. 1510. Latin text with polychrome tempera illuminations and Gilded detail below a miniature painting depicting Annuciation of the Angel Gabriel to Mary. The Psalm text Domine labia..Lord open my lips.., Measuring approx 7.25" h x 4.25" w Great color pigments as shown. All these from one collection and most bought from Mackus Company Illuminated manuscripts and Historical documents as shown in receipts. Good condition, see photos
