Shu”t R. Meshulam Igra. Inscribed by Rabbi Shaul Brach!
Halachic responsa and novella of R. Meshulam Igra with autograph dedication by R. Shaul Brach.

R. Meshulam Igra (1742-1801), was descended from a distinguished rabbinic family in Buchatch. He was famous from a very young age as tremendous Talmid Chochom and was appointed as Rav in Tysmneitz at the young age of 17. In Tysmneitz he led a great Yeshiva, which attracted excellent talmidim such as R. Mordechai Banet and R. Yaakov Lorberbaum (Chavas Da’as). In 1793, he left Galicia to accept the distinguished position of Rav of Pressburg, where he was later succeeded by the Chasam Sofer.

R. Shaul Brach (1865-1940), was born in Nitra and was a student of the MaHaRa”M Shick. He frequented the Tzadikim of the time, particularly the Admorim of Tzanz, Sighet and Belz. He served as Av Beis Din of Kashau and was among the greatest Rabbonim of Hungary.
