Olga Bogaevskaya (1915-2000). 29x24.5 cm, published on the cover of the almanac "Star No. 14" (1960), watercolor on paper, framed in a mat, signed on the reverse side of the mat, in good condition, from a private collection.
Institute of Fine Arts named after I. Repin (1940), workshop of Alexander Osmerkin. She has been a permanent participant in exhibitions of Leningrad artists since the late 1940s. In the 1950s, she became one of the leading Leningrad painters. The leading theme of creativity is childhood. Works by O. Bogaevskaya are in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, in museums and private collections in Russia, Spain, Finland, China, Japan, Great Britain, France and other countries.
