Graduated from art school. V. A. Serova. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the International Association of Art Critics. Honored Artist of Russia. Participant of more than three hundred exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including sixty solo ones.
The works of Yuri Lyukshin are presented in many museum collections, including the State Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin, the National Library of Russia, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Ludwig Museum (Cologne).
