Sergey Pavlovich Chubirko (1969). Graduated from St. Petersburg Institute of Civil Aviation named after I. Repin (2000), postgraduate studies at Institute of Civil Aviation named after I. Repin, a student of Vasily Sokolov and Vasily Rudnev. Taught in China (2005-2008). Since 2007 he has been living and teaching in Florence. Completed a series of works commissioned by the Roman Catholic Church, including a portrait of Benedict XVI (2010). The works are in collections in China, the USA and Europe.
