Bashor, John - linoleum-cut, good condition, 8x11.75
Original linoleum-cut print of Old Main, Bethany College Campus, Lindsborg, KS, by John Bashor is in good condition, measures 8x11.75 and is pencil signed "John Bashor" in the lower right. Born in Newton, Kansas, John Bashor is a painter and art educator who received his formal training at Washburn University and the University of Iowa and then taught art at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas (1954-1966). He moved to Bozeman, Montana where in 1966, he became Director of the School of Art at Montana State University, and also became an established painter. He uses loose strokes and much color contrast, and his preferred medium is acrylic.
