Group of ten Chinese decorative pieces from the collection of Captain Hall J. Tibbits (1797-1872), who traded with China in the Daoguang and Xianfeng periods. Includes two summer pillows; several stone carvings, including brush rests and an inkstick stand; a mother-of-pearl card case; a group of coins; and a bone necklace.
Provenance: Pook & Pook, Pennsylvania, 2014; Private collection, Minnesota.
