Eyvind Earl "Softening Shades of Twilight" Print
Eyvind Earle (American, 1916-2000). Serigraph on paper titled "Softening Shades of Twilight" depicting a forest, 1993. Signed in blue ink along the lower right; numbered PP 2/6 along the lower left. Eyvind Earle is well-known for his work on Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" (1959) animated film.
Sight; height: 20 3/4 in x width: 27 1/2 in. Framed; height: 36 in x width: 42 3/4 in.
Condition: Along the lower left tree there is an approx. 2.5 inch long area of inpainting which fluoresces under UV light. No other visible areas of inpainting. No visible rips or losses. Framed under an acidic mat. Not inspected out of frame. Light wear to the frame; framed under plexiglass.
