2 After Kitagawa Utamaro Woodblock Prints
After Kitagawa Utamaro (Japanese, b. circa 1753-1806). Group of two woodblock prints. One titled "Portrait of Takashima O-Hisa" depicting a woman in fine silks holding a fan. One titled "Ichikawa Ebizo IV as Takemura Sadanojo in the Play Koinyobo Somewake Tazuna" depicting a man in red silks.
(Ichikawa Ebizo IV) Height: 15 1/2 in x width: 10 1/2 in. (Takashima O-Hisa) Height: 15 in x width: 10 1/2 in.
Condition: No major tears or losses. There are creases throughout, in particular to the item with the light background. This item also has a minor loss to the lower right corner.
