2 Marx Wind-up Tin Toys Donkey & Carriages
Group of two vintage Marx tin wind-up toys. Both antique toys are lithographed and in the form of a donkey pulling a carriage or cart with a driver, ca. early 20th century.
(Each) Height: 5 in x width: 2 3/4 in x depth: 7 3/4 in.
Condition: The clown and donkey toy did not run with every test; in some tests it seem to run but was not consistent. The other toy moved when wound, though it appeared to become stuck when the donkey "bucked" as the carriage became stuck on its back edge. Some wear throughout both toys as expected with age.
