Large Syrian Mamluk Revival Brass Box w/ Inlay
Large antique Syrian Damascene Mamluk Revival brass box inlaid with silver and copper, likely late 19th century. With profuse and intricate Arabic writing amidst foliate and geometric motifs. Five drawers with a key.
Height: 14 in x width: 20 in x depth: 12 in.
Condition: Some discoloration to the metal throughout. A few areas of slight bends. Some of the drawer slides along the interior are loose. All drawers move slightly haltingly along the slides.
