American Eagle Head Pommel Calvary Sword, C. 1805-1820
American circa 1805-1820 bright fire-blued blade with gilt accented inscribed American Eagle, E PLURIBUS UNUM on banner, and various military motifs. With scabbard and heavily gilt scabbard fittings. The leather on the bottom of the scabbard has a separation – and needs reinforcement. Heavily gilt hilt. The grip insert is absent. Desirable sword with fine gilt brass components and bluing. Overall 38" L, blade 33" L
