Finely Etched French Beauvoir Folding Knife, 19th/20th c.
19th to 20th century French hand crafted knife, made by Beauvoir. Favored by pirates and sailors alike during the Period of Sail. Beautifully formed folding knife with an etched blade of scrolling patterns and stamped with the signature of Beauvoir bladesmiths. Handle in brass with a clear shell and bone panels surrounded by gilt brass and inlaid to one section in silver. Size 13 1/4" L, blade 6" L
