Letter by Rabbi Chaim Walkin, the Last Rosh Yeshiva in Volozhin - 1934 - Rare

Letter handwritten and signed by the last Rosh Yeshiva of the Volozhin Yeshiva, Rabbi Chaim Walkin, on the official stationery of "the holy ancient Etz Chaim Yeshiva in Volozhin founded in 1807". The official stationery was used by his father-in-law, as is printed on the logo, "Ya'akov ben Ha'Gaon Rabbi Raphael Shapira Av Beit Din and Ram Volozhin".
A thank-you letter to his great friend.
Rabbi Chaim Walkin was the last head of the Volozhin Yeshiva, since the death of his father-in-law, Rabbi Ya'akov Shapira in 1936 until the yeshiva was closed at the eve of the Holocaust. He was murdered in the Holocaust.
