A letter from Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook to the "Honorable committee in Haifa" regarding the desecration of Shabbat which took place in the city. The Rabbi requests "to wipe this terrible stain, of the destruction of the nation's life in its land, away from our nation and our land".
The letter is typewritten, on Rabbi Kook's official paper.
On the letter's margin is the handwritten signature of Rabbi Kook, and his stamp.
The letter was printed at the time in the newspaper "Doar HaYom".
Condition: Very Good. Enlarged filing holes.
