Copy belonging to Rabbi Shmuel David Jungreisz, Rabbi of Fehergyarmat, with inscription on title page,
‘shayach le’admo hagaon hamefursam pe’er hador Mo’H Shmuel David HaLevy’, with stamp of his son Rabbi Asher Anshel, Rabbi of Pabianhaz.
Rabbi Shmuel David Jungreisz (1838-1892), son of Rabbi Shraga Feish of Setshe and son-in-law of (his uncle) Rabbi Asher Anshel Jungreisz of Csenger. Studied under his father and at the Yeshivos of the Goren David in Balasagyarmat and the Kesav Sofer in Pressburg. Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva of Fehergyarmat. An adherent of the Rebbes of Sighet and Munkacz. Author of Shaalos U’Teshuvos Maharashdah.
Rabbi Asher Anshel Jungreisz (1874-1934), son of Rabbi Shmuel David of Fehergyarmat and grandson of the Menuchas Asher. Son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Schick of Nadudvar. Studied under the Kedushas Yomtov in Sighet and was an adherent of the Rebbes of Sieniawa and Munkacz. Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva of Pabianhaz (1901) and Fehergyarmat (1910).
