She also successfully rediscovered titles that had fallen out of the repertoire due to a lack of suitable singers, such as Armida and Il Turco in Italia by Rossini, Il pirata by Bellini, Anna Bolena by Donizetti, Alceste and Ifigenia in Tauride by Gluck, La Vestale by Spontini, Macbeth by Verdi, Medea by Cherubini. Her artistic and media success built a myth around her, giving her the name of Divina.
