Tractates, Berlin – Frankfurt on the Oder, 1734-1736. Annotations in the Hand of Rabbi Moshe Ginz
Tractates Gittin, Nedarim, Nazir, Sota. Berlin – Frankfurt on the Oder. 1734-1736.
Two lengthy comments probably in the hand of Rabbi Moshe Günsz -Shlensinger. Rabbi Moshe Günsz was a disciple and nephew of Rabbi Akiva Eiger. He was a member of the Hamburg Kloiz of Rabbi Leib ben Shaul. He prepared much of the Torah of Rabbi Akiva Eiger for print, and is repeatedly mentioned in the works of Rabbi Akiva Eiger and the Chatam Sofer. (He signed his name Günsz -Eiger). He passed away in [1857]. Along with information about him from "Chachmei Ah"u".
Damaged, antiquated wood and leather binding. Poor condition. Blemishes to the first title page and other leaves.
