Letter from Rabbi Benzion Vezel, AB"D of Torda – regarding a dispute between the community and the local shochet, 1934
Rabbi Benzion Vezel (1859-1938) was a student of the Shevet Sofer and the son-in-law of Rabbi Elimelech Rosenfeld. Rabbi Benzion was one of the outstanding rabbis of his generation and headed the Orthodox bureau of Transylvanian rabbis. His son-in-law, Rabbi Yosef Adler, succeeded him as the rabbi of Torda.
