CARUSO ENRICO: (1873-1921) Italian Tenor. Signed postcard photograph by Caruso, with Christmas greeting in his hand to the verso. The image shows the artist in a head and shoulders pose. Signed (`Enrico Caruso´) with surname in bold black ink, with his name alone, across the image. Written to the verso by Caruso, in French, sending his new year greeting `Meilleurs remerciements et mille souhaits pour la nouvelle année´, and addressed to a correspondent at the Royal Opera House of Boston. Postmarked in New York, 23rd December 1910. Stamp removed. Overall age wear and staining, with scratches mostly to the bottom edge and light ink to the name `Enrico´. F
