Hasui Kawase "Spring in Arashiyama" Print
Hasui Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957). Modern Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Spring in Arashiyama" depicting a figure on a boat behind a screen of flowering spring trees. Marked in the plate along the lower right with Kawase's seal. With a Watanabe Publishing Company C seal along the right margin indicating the print was published between 1929-1942. Further inscribed in Japanese along the lower margin.
