King of France 1824-30. Both brothers of King Louis XVI. D.S., `Louis Stanislas Xavier´ and `Charles Philippe´, one page, oblong 8vo, n.p., n.d., [1792], in French. The document is an order for an infiltration mission, stating `We have considered that it is useful to the service of the King that M. Edouard, Corps Guard, accepts temporarily the post of Lieutenant at Salon in Provence.´ An interesting document signed by two Kings of France. Extremely small stain not affecting the text or signatures. G £600-900 Joseph-Marie Edouard de La Morlière (1762-1830?) also known as Audouard, a King Louis XVI Corps Guard of the Scottish regiment since 1782.
