Obverse:
The skyscrapers in Manhattan in relief, with the missing Twin Towers incised, symbolizing their absence. Above the skyline, the date, 9.11.01 with the "11" appearing as the Twin Towers, the inscription "United in Democracy" with the "U" and the "D" intertwined. In the upper right-hand border, the inscription "Forever Remembered", in the lower left-hand border, a row of flowers.
Reverse:
Torch of Liberty with the concluding words of President George W. Bush's speech "Peace and Freedom will Prevail".
Edge:
Israel State Emblem, "STATE OF ISRAEL" inscribed in Hebrew on the right and in English on the left; serial number and metal.
