1948 Israel Anglo-Palestine Provisional Banknote Set. Including 500 mils (63PPQ), 1 Palestine Pound (58PPQ), 5 Palestine Pounds (63PPQ) and 10 Palestine Pounds (64PPQ).The set is 1 of 11 known sets and is rated Choice New by PCGS Currency. All the banknotes are watermarked and carry the Anglo-Palestine Bank mark. Another characteristic of the set are the banknotes' serial numbers, all ending with 985. This particular set originates in the Kagan-Maremba collection, sold in its entirety at Sotheby's New York, 2012.
